Miami Heat NBA 2015 trade news: Dwyane Wade likely lost as negotiations fail?

Dwyane Wade is expected to test free agency though this is no assurance that the Miami Heat have lost their hold on the long-time star. At least that was the scenario heading into NBA Free Agency this July.

But a new report from the Miami Herald bears that Wade is pretty much disappointed at how contract negotiations have been and such could prove to be a factor when it comes to Wade entertaining any thoughts of staying with the Heat.

It seems that Wade has had enough of giving in and playing for less pay. He is in the final year of that contract and is believed to be looking for his rightful value and of course security. Wade would have been guaranteed $16 million had he opted in but apparently the long-time guard feels that he is worth more than that.

Unfortunately it looks like the Heat are not likely to offer Wade the pay he so truly deserves, same with the security that he is looking for. At 33, Wade is reaching the crossroads of his career and one thing he wants to make sure is that his future is secure.

The Miami Herald report further adds that Wade seems pretty upset at how the negotiations are going. The unnamed friend says that Wade wants that feeling of priority which strangely seems to be not the case.

Should the Heat lose Wade, it would be the second year in a row that they would lose another key player. They lost Lebron James last year to the Cavs and if things don't pick up on both sides, Wade may likely be donning a new uniform next season.

Wade has spent a great deal of time in sick bay last season. He has proven though that when healthy, he can still be a force to reckon with. But if these reports hold true, the Heat may be leaning on a different direction.

Another thing worth noting is that if it is true that Wade is upset, a high contract – the one he really deserves – may no longer appeal to the Flash especially if it is true that he is upset at the way the Heat are handling the situation.

With that said, Wade is bound to get some tempting offers. Teams such as the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers or even the Los Angeles Clippers could make do with a player like Wade and offer him the things he is looking for which the Heat are unable to comply with.
