Mario Chalmers was, apparently, the unnamed Miami Heat teammate initial reports were pertaining to when word broke out that teammate Gerald Green was caught in a commotion at the lobby of the condo where he was residing in.

Initial reports revealed that Green was screaming profusely and had to be restrained by medical personnel and brought onto an ambulance that day. The teammate that the report indicated was Chalmers who rode on the ambulance to aid his disturbed teammate.

Chalmers spoke on the matter for the first time recently and shed some light on what really happened. He was apparently residing nearby and came to his teammate's aid. He did however clarify that Green was not agitated, dousing water on previous reports.

He also updated the media that Green was feeling a whole lot better and is in good health.

With Green making progress, relief came from all over at the Miami Heat side, perhaps hoping that the scoring guard could be given clearance soon to help out the ball club's campaign.

Green agreed to a one-year deal on a veteran's minimum with the Heat and the shooting guard showed how he could be of help to Miami during the preseason. He was the leading scorer at that time, although he has yet to hit his stride in the regular season.

Chalmers, on the other hand, remains sitting on pins and needles. With the Heat having a whole new batch of guards led by Goran Dragić and Dwyane Wade, Chalmers is believed to be on his way out as early as the offseason.

The latest word around is that Chalmers is drawing interest from the Memphis Grizzlies who are off to a floundering start. The only issue seen for now seems to be on the salary aspect since the deal can only materialize if the Grizzlies are able to offset the guard's $4.3 million contract.
