Miami Heat roster news 2015: Goran Dragić slowly settling in

For someone who has been with the Miami Heat since early this year, Goran Dragić should have been fully settled in right now.

But as it turns out, he hasn't. Then again, such is a minor detail to get him fully accustomed to living in South Beach, a place where he will most likely be for at least the next four years.

Dragić was a big fish caught by the Miami Heat last February, and while he did show semblances of brilliance, it was a fact that he was groping a bit since he was trying to learn the system of head coach Erik Spoelstra.

The Heat, of course, got booted out of the playoff picture, but that was because the team suffered from injuries to key players. Heading into a new season, the team seems to have everyone back and healthy at that which may translate into a better showing.

Dragić knows for a fact that with the return of Chris Bosh, he has a great pick-and-roll partner to work with.

"With his talent level, I think we'll just be able to read and react off each other, through conversation of course and time on the court. I think it's going to be pretty good when we get to collaborating and talking about things and I think it'll show on the court," Dragić was quoted saying via the Associated Press.

The return of the NBA All Star forward is indeed a big boost, but Dragić and the rest of the key players like Dwyane Wade have to do their part too. Others on the radar include Luol Deng and Hassan Whiteside, not to mention the new faces like Amar'e Stoudemire and Gerald Green.

Indeed, Dragić seems excited to start the new season with gusto and hopefully, he completely settles in by the coming months. That includes finding a suitable home for him and his family which up to now remains a minor problem to truly make him feel at home.
