The real score behind what actually happened to Miami Heat reserve guard Gerald Green remains a mystery, but the latest word on him is that he has been finally discharged from the hospital.

Green was the main figure during last Wednesday's incident that occurred at lobby of the apartment where he was staying, allegedly screaming at the top of his lungs and bleeding.

First reported by TMZ, attending personnel at the scene required assistance attending to what was termed a "combative patient." Teammate and Mario Chalmers, who is being rumored as set to leave Miami soon, were around to aid Green but the actual details surrounding the incident has not been brought out in the open.

There is no word yet on whether or not Green would be returning to suit up for the Miami Heat. The same holds true on what lies ahead as far as his tenure with the team is concerned. Green signed a $1.4 million one-year deal with the club in the offseason and had been a bright spot prior to the incident.

The word out is that Green is fine and healthy, although it does not include when he may be returning to the hardwood.

Shedding some light on that incident, Green was not arrested or facing any charges on the commotion that occurred last Wednesday. The incident is tagged as "delicate," although the smoke should clear at some point in the future.

Green has been out for the last three games for the Heat and his absence could be carried on until the real score on what is bugging Green comes out in the open.

The Heat have so far managed to survive with one less guard, with Miami currently sporting a 4–3 card and occupying the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Miami Heat are scheduled to face the struggling Los Angeles Lakers today, Nov. 10.
