With a roster full of forwards heading into the 2015-16 NBA season, there are bound to be casualties in the Miami Heat roster.

Three are actually on the trading block though one of them may likely gain the least interest. That person is Chris "Birdman" Andersen who owns a hefty $5 million contract for next season.

Andersen is best known to provide the energy when the Heat needed it. He is a rebounding demon and can electrify the crowd with scintillating dunks and hustle plays. But seeing that the team took in Amar'e Stoudemire recently, the list of forwards the Heat have are more than what the team perhaps need.

Aside from Stoudemire, Andersen will be up against the likes of Chris Bosh, Josh McRoberts and Udonis Haslem. Ranking them accordingly, the Birdman could possibly end up dead last (or the fifth stringer).

A fifth string forward earning $5 million is certainly quite a lot and such is a concern especially with the Heat a bit wary of their impending luxury tax issues.

Trading Andersen may get nowhere. Mario Chalmers and Shabazz Napier are reportedly the others on the block and are likely to gain interest from other teams in need of point guards.

Andersen would have been along those lines too but his net worth seems to be the stumbling block hindering other teams to sign him up.

There will be teams in need of an energy player like Andersen, mostly the ones who fell short of snagging the best possible players in the free agent market. But unless they have a wide open salary cap to accommodate Andersen, those interested parties are bound to be dwindled.

At 37 and someone who comes off the bench, Andersen could have limited options. In fact, it may be surprising to see him suiting up for next season.

Could it be the last we have seen of Andersen? Unless the Heat manage to bring down their luxury tax or some team comes forward, such could likely be the case.
