Miami Heat rumors, news 2014: Chris Bosh says relationship with former teammate Lebron James remains 'civil'

It seems like Miami Heat's Big 3 is not in good terms anymore.

Last week, Chris Bosh reportedly told ESPN that he is not on speaking terms with former team mate LeBron James after the latter moved back to Cleveland Cavaliers.  Bosh made it clear that he has no time for anyone outside the team, ex-team mates included.

"Yeah ... I don't know," Bosh pointed out."I'm in the mode where I'm trying to lead my team, help these guys out around. If guys aren't in this locker room, I don't have much time for them - if any," he added.

However, Bosh corrected his earlier interview in a recent article posted on NY Times. He said that the first report had mixed up his timeline. He had actually talked to James during Dwyane Wade's wedding back in August.

Though Bosh said that the relationship between them is not exactly like it was when they were still in the same team, he and James are still civil for now.

"I want to get people to understand that I am a competitor and he is on another team," the Heat's power forward said.  "He is against us."

On the other hand, James expressed his opinions regarding Bosh's statements.

"I know a lot of words have come out of their camp of late, and some of it is surprising," the former Finals MVP said. "That does not take away from what we accomplished. We got so much history together."

The Heat and James with his new team faced each other in a pre-season game in Rio de Janeiro on Oct. 11, where the Cavs won 122-119 in overtime.

Reports also mentioned that the two teams were keeping distance from each other during the entire time that they were in Brazil.

Though the Heat was not victorious in Rio, Coach Eric Spoelstra said that the trip was very advantageous for the team to develop the much needed chemistry between the old and the new players.

"We have team meals all the time and an inordinate amount of bus time with the traffic," Spoelstra said. "It's a great opportunity to bond."
