Miami Heat vs. Charlotte Hornets live stream (NBA Game preview): Scorch or be scorched?

Looking through the lineups of the Miami Heat and the Charlotte Hornets, it seems pretty obvious that the Heat are the deeper of the two. But then again, the Hornets have been buzzing in the preseason, which hopefully will be carried onto the regular season where wins now count.

Seeing that they are now facing a Miami Heat squad that has its star back and healthy, it will be a totally new ball game.

Bosh is back and it seems like he never left, based on his appearances in the preseason, and so are Dwyane Wade, Goran Dragić, and Luol Deng. They also have a deep backup bench so in essence, the Heat are looking to bounce back after missing out on the playoffs last season.

The Hornets, on the other hand, will see if their new acquisitions are worth it. Nicolas Batum and Jeremy Lin are among the new faces on the squad, but the latter is obviously the one who shone during the preseason.

Lin showed he fit into the system of head coach Steve Clifford and, hopefully, such continues. There are equally high expectations from Batum as well.

Big Al Jefferson will still be a force, while Kemba Walker will get his share of moments as well. The only missing element is Michael Kidd-Gilchrist who went down to an injury and will likely be out for majority (if not the whole) of the season.

Such is not seen a problem with Lin around, although it still falls in the hands of Clifford. The Hornets look like they have a formidable roster on paper and they will get the chance to show that against a powerhouse team in the Heat.

The Heat host the visiting Hornets at the American Airlines Arena today, Wednesday, starting at 7:30 p.m. EST. The game will be shown via Fox Sports. For those who want to watch it live stream, click here.
