Hollywood stars Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender are now happily married. The notoriously private couple have reportedly tied the knot sometime last week, and fans of the two could not stop gushing about them. It would appear that even the ceremony itself was carefully kept under wraps so as to not attract unwanted attention from the public eye.

In a report by People, the couple had a small ceremony in Ibiza last weekend, at the La Granja farmstead resort. Insiders told E! News that on Oct. 13, the ceremonies started with an intimate gathering with only close friends and relatives as part of the guest list. Later on in the day, the people at the wedding took a sail around the beach as they watched the beautiful sunset on the island. It seemed like a truly private and romantic event.

Even if both the ceremony and the venue were small, the couple still managed to have a very intimate and special ceremony given the upscale features of La Granja. Fassbender celebrated with a casual floral top and shorts, while Vikander wore a floral blue dress and espadrilles.

The couple has been known to be very stingy regarding any information about each other ever since they got together on the set of the film "The Light Between Oceans" back in 2014. According to Vanity Fair, the two have managed to be private, only giving subtle hints during interviews, and not giving the paparazzi much to work with.

Fassbender has opted to respect the norm regarding celebrity couple culture. Most celebrities would like to show off the love that they have with one another in grand Red Carpet events, but this just is not the case for both Vikander and Fassbender.

As for the couple's honeymoon, it seems that they decided to go to Italy, according to Elle U.K. Lucky fans were graciously welcomed to take photos with the newlyweds in the streets of Verona, which is one of the country's most romantic spots.
