Just days ago, news broke that Christian Bale already left the Steve Jobs biopic that Sony will produce. As to why Bale decided to pull out on the movie, he has a very valid reason.

The Hollywood Reporter dished out on Bale's reason why he left just like that. The actor didn't think he was the right person to play the part so he withdrew, reported THR, and that's that.

Now, director Danny Boyle and his team are looking for someone else to play Steve Jobs. Leonardo DiCaprio was considered, but he reportedly turned down the role as he wants to take a break from acting.

Nonetheless, a new name hovers around the Steve Jobs biopic and people would like to see this happen — Michael Fassbender playing Steve Jobs, now that's a theatrical treat for everyone.

According to Variety, sources have confirmed that Fassbender is already in talks with Sony for playing Jobs. Fassbender will play alongside Seth Rogen, who is also in talks for the role of the other Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. The real-life drama is penned by Aaron Sorkin and based on the biography made by Walter Isaacson. It will be produced by Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady.

Sorkin shared that the biopic will be divided into three major scenes, with each one showing what happened behind launches of three products. The three product launches to be featured are the Mac, the NeXT and the iPod.

Sorkin did describe writing of the biopic as similar to writing about the Beatles, given that Jobs is a popular man and an inspirational human being at that. Nonetheless, it's likely that Sorkin nailed the writing on this one, otherwise, Sony wouldn't have approved.

Sony got the rights to make a movie about Steve Jobs after his death in 2011. Hopefully, the actor that Sony chooses will be the perfect man for the job and he should be someone who thinks he's the right man for the job, too.
