Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher continues to fight for his life after the skiing accident in the French Alps almost two years ago. Loved ones, friends, fans and others haven't stopped praying for his recovery. One of those is Philippe Bianchi.

Bianchi is the father of Jules Bianchi, who drove for Manor Marussia before he died in July, nine months after a high-speed crash at the Japanese Grand Prix last year. The senior Bianchi feels for Schumacher's family as he himself experienced the same situation, and so he urged them to keep the hope alive.

"I have no news about him [Schumacher] so I can't comment on anything because we don't know what the sources [of the Schumacher news] are," he declared in an interview with GrandPrix.com. "For what I can say, it is to not let go, so long as Michael is still there, he fights," he added.

As for the current situation of the seven-time Formula One champ, there isn't any solid news or updates. The family of the racing legend has apparently requested for privacy as Schumacher recuperates.

Schumacher was in an induced coma for six months after the freak skiing accident on Dec. 29, 2013. He was then transported to a rehabilitation clinic in Switzerland, where he stayed for three months before coming home to his family in their home in Lake Geneva.

Last year, Schumacher's agent Sabine Kehm said, via Telegraph, that he "is making progress appropriate to the severity of the situation." Although she emphasized that "We need a long time. It's going to be a long time and a hard fight."

Since then, there has been little to no news about his road to recovery. For now, the closest fans can get to Schumacher is his website, which was re-launched to showcase his best moments in his racing career.

On the website, there is a dedicated corner for fans to tweet a message of love and concern for the racer.
