Microsoft is dropping real-life "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" ("PUBG") supply crates in Australia. This is in part of their "PUBG" promotions as the game is set to release on Dec. 12.

Yes, Microsoft is giving away real-life supply crates similar from those found in "PUBG" that made gamers go gaga for the past six months. According to Comicbook, these supply drops will be found across three cities in Australia.

These cities include Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Although there is no specific spot to where these supply drops will be found within the said cities, Microsoft advices "PUBG" players to be on the lookout.

As to what these "supply drops" may contain, the report said the crates are filled with all sorts of amazing stuffs. These include Xbox One X consoles, Elite Xbox One controllers, Xbox Live codes, and as well as codes for to download "PUBG" when it releases.

Microsoft also released a promotional video that showed players hunting for the said "PUBG" supply drops. The video also revealed that hunt would start on Saturday, Dec. 9. Check the video below.

Players may also want to visit Microsoft's Xbox ANZ Facebook page as the company will be dropping hints on where the supply drops will be. Also, players will have to have a passcode which will be given to the on-site Xbox staff to unlock the supply crate.

Earlier in November, "PUBG" developer Bluehole announced that the game will finally be released as a full game on Dec. 12 on Microsoft's Xbox One consoles and will retail for $30. The announcement was made during the Paris Games Week held on Nov. 1, reports GameSpot.

Meanwhile, the 1.0 PC version of "PUBG" is still set to come. Bluehole promised that the development of the game is "on track" and will be released before 2017 ends.
