The Lumia 1330 is Microsoft's effort to roll out a phablet-sized smartphone that will present decent hardware specifications coupled with an affordable price tag that will not break the bank account or wallet of the potential buyer. According to GSMArena, the Lumia 1330 will sport a 5.7-inch screen size that will render a 720p display. 

It is speculated that the device will be released during the second quarter of 2015 and although the pricing details have not been revealed by Microsoft, the reported hardware specifications of the device is sufficient evidence that the Lumia 1330 will be targeted to budget smartphone users. Apart from housing 1 GB of RAM, the Lumia 1330 will also be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 chipset, running a quad-core Krait 300 processor. Supplementing the processor will be the company's Adreno 305 GPU. 

One of the biggest surprises comes in the form of the Lumia 1330's rear camera, which will reportedly feature a maximum camera resolution of 14 megapixels as well as Carl Zeiss optics in order to improve image and video capturing quality. In addition to packing a 5-megapixel front camera, the Lumia 1330 will be sporting a large battery pack due to its large form factor. 

While the Lumia 1330's internal storage capacity will be 32 GB, Microsoft has not yet unveiled whether or not it will feature a microSD slot. At any rate, budget smartphone users will be pleased to know that the device will likely support LTE connectivity, while another variant, the Lumia 1335, will feature LTE-Advanced connectivity. 

As for the operating system, the Lumia 1330 will be running Windows 8.1 out of the box. No exact date has been given as to when the tech giant will be introducing the Lumia 1330 but it is expected to be unveiled in the first quarter of the year and is rumored to be launched sometime between April and June.
