After Cricket recently launched the Microsoft Lumia 640 last week, the said phone may soon come out as well via T-Mobile this July.

This seems to be the case after T-Mobile (@TMobileHelp) sent out a tweet the day after the Cricket launch, revealing that the device could very well be out by July 16.

The device was posted over at the Microsoft U.S. website recently and was listed as coming soon. As far as pricing is concerned, the Microsoft Lumia 640 will reportedly be offered at $89, a bit more cheaper compared to the Cricket deal pegged at $129.99.

For those who are unaware of the Microsoft Lumia 640, the said handset comes with features that include a 5-inch IPS LCD display (720x1280 resolution). The display will be amply protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 which should help owners avoid unnecessary scratches from everyday use.

Inside, the Lumia 640 will draw its power from a Snapdragon 400 SoC, including a quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. It will also include 1GB of RAM, provide 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD for up to 128GB.

It will also feature an 8MP rear camera while a .9MP front-facing camera will also be available. A 2,500 mAh battery will provide the necessary juice that should be good for at least 36 days (on standby). Expectedly, the Lumia 640 will come with Windows Phone 8.1 OS and Lumia Denim pre-installed.

The said device is expected to come pre-installed as well with some apps such as Skype and Microsoft Office while also coming with the patented Cortana to assist users.

With the impending release, T-Mobile will be the second carrier to offer the Lumia 640. There is no word on when other carriers such as AT&T would be offering the Lumia 640 for now though they could follow very soon.
