It seems like Microsoft is giving shoppers some early Christmas gift ideas with word that the company is set to unveil a batch of new consumer electronic goodies as well as the Windows 10 for mobile.

The actual date is still up in the air but the fact remains that Microsoft is set to unveil an array of new hardware, including two new Lumia handsets and the much awaited laplet called the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Aside from that, Phone Arena even adds that gamers can look forward to something as well with belief that Microsoft will be unveiling a mini version of the famed Xbox One.

Regardless of what and how many electronic goodies will be revealed, the event will be concentrated on the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, and the Surface Pro 4.

The Lumia 950 or the Talkman will carry specs that include a 5.2-inch OLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, a 20-megapixel main camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.  It will run on Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor and will be supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which may be expanded through microSD. The whole lot will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which will come with wireless charging feature with flip cover. The device, which will also have USB Type-C connection, will reportedly carry a suggested retail price (SRP) of $600.

If that isn't enough, there is also the Lumia 950 XL, which will sport a slightly larger OLED display at 5.7 inches, a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, and similar main and secondary cameras as those of the Lumia 950. It will come with a slightly better 3,300 mAh battery. The Lumia 950 XL will be priced slightly higher at $650.

If mobile devices are not of interest, here comes the highly anticipated Surface Pro 4. The next laplet will come in three variants of screen size — 14 inches, 12 inches, and 8 inches. It will feature an N-Trig surface pen and a default storage capacity of 64 GB.  Its storage can be expanded to 128 GB, 256 GB, and 500GB.

With regards to pricing, the Surface Pro 4 will reportedly retail between $800 to $1990.
