If your phone starts to look wary and feels out dated then maybe you're looking at an image of the upcoming Microsoft Surface Phone, created by artist  Jonas Daehnert. First there were rumors that Microsoft will unveil its Microsoft Surface Phone early next year and then the images were posted on Weibo by leaker Nokibar. As good as it looks, with it the Redmond-based company will make a fresh attempt to penetrate the mobile phone markets once again.

While we want to believe that Microsoft is really working on a 'Surface Phone' what makes fans skeptical about this leaked image, and thinking if it is a real deal or not, is the detachable camera unit that the artist had suggested.

It is promised that the smartphone will be able to last longer than it's frequently changing counterparts. This could be a consequence of the fact that it gives its users the ability to upgrade and change their camera based on their preference so that everybody gets the device they need.

After its acquisition of Nokia phones resulted in huge losses, Microsoft stopped selling the Nokia Lumia phones after renaming them as Microsoft Lumia. Now Microsoft is reportedly returning to the smartphone market , developing its own new line of products that will be launched next year.

It is still-unconfirmed if Microsoft is working on a Surface Phone because nothing except the name has surfaced. Nevertheless, if they do, it reportedly will be released in three variant options: entry level, midrange, and premium.

The entry level model will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and a 3 GB of random access memory (RAM). The midrange variant will be packed with a 6 GB of RAM and the top-of-the-line model, the premium variant will not only house an 8 GB RAM but 512 GB of built-in storage too.
