It seems like Microsoft is starting to give its competitors in the tablet and laptop markets a run for their money with the latest version of its Surface Pro product line.

Based on the recent market reviews for Microsoft Surface Pro 4, the tech giant managed to create a better version of its hybrid laptop/tablet product that was first released in 2013.

According to PC World, Microsoft managed to introduce a lot of improvements with Surface Pro 4. One of the most obvious improvements can be seen in the device's display size, since the first Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 both came at just 10.6-inches and the Surface Pro 3 came with a 12-inch display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with a slightly bigger 12.3-inch screen display.

The new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 also comes with big improvements under the hood, since both the Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 only have a dual-core i5 processor while the Surface Pro 3 features an Intel Haswell dual-core i3 CPU. The Surface Pro 4, on the other hand, comes with the latest Intel Skylake dual core processor that can allegedly support better 3D performance by up to 81 percent. It should also be noted that the new Surface Pro 4 comes with a fanless model.

Other features of the new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 include different graphic processors such as an Intel Core m3-6Y30 version with Intel HD 515 (24 EUs, 300-850 MHz), and Intel Core i5-6300U version with Intel HD Graphics 520 (24 EUs, 300-1000 MHz), as well as the Intel Core i7-6650U edition that has an Intel Iris Graphics 540 (48 EUs, 64 MB eDRAM, 300-1050 MHz).

The device also comes in different storage capacities, including 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

The new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is priced at as low as $899 and as high as $2699, depending on the variant.
