Warner Bros., the publisher of the game "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" announced that the "Blade of Galadriel" story expansion is now available.

According to Warner Bros., players will take on the role of Eltariel who is known as the "Blade of Galadriel." Eltariel is an elite Elven warrior and assassin who works for the Elven Queen, Galadriel. She will be sent to Mordor to hunt down the Nazgul. Along the way, she will also be facing new enemies including Flint, Tinder and the Slayer of the Dead. Players will also gain eight unique Legendary Orcs who can join one's army in the main campaign with new abilities added to the Nemesis system.

The official trailer for the new story expansion revealed that Eltariel will be facing "Shadow of War's" protagonist, Talion, whom she helped in his fight against Sauron's army. After taking the ring of Isildur, whom he killed in "Shadow of War," Talion is slowly becoming a Nazgul himself. Eltariel must finish what she started, as Galadriel had instructed her — even if that means fighting an old ally.

Warner. Bros. also announced content updates available for "Middle-earth: Shadow of War," which include Nemesis System Enhancements in which Orc Captains can exhibit new traits and behaviors such as Tunnel Rats (Orcs can burrow into the ground and summon Ghûls), Sniper Shot (Archers can fire from great distances with greater accuracy), Tremor (Ologs can strike the earth with enormous force) and Gifts of Treasure (followers can now bring the gift of a Treasure Orc that helps players earn Gems and Mirian). Content updates also include Photo Mode upgrades (new filters, frames and stickers for customizing in-game action shots), an Eltariel skin for the main story campaign, Training Orders update (in which players can upgrade their Orc Followers with Training Orders while in the Garrison), Player Stats Page update (a new menu that includes the number and type of enemy kills, dominations and betrayals, fortresses conquered and defended and  gear pieces collected and upgraded) and more Field of View options. The content updates are free for all players of the title, even if they do not avail themselves of the "Blade of Galadriel" story expansion.
