Mikeschair releases acoustic EP to accompany 'Let the waters rise'

Curb Records' band Mikeschair has announced the digital release of Let The Waters Rise EP.

Featuring acoustic, instrumental and performance track versions of their current radio single, "Let the Waters Rise", the EP also includes two additional songs - the never-before released duet with Plumb for "Hold Me Now" and an extended mix of "Otherside", available on iTunes and Amazon.

Next week the band will celebrate along with their peers at the 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards, where the band is nominated for an astounding four awards. They are nominated for the top honour of Song of the Year with "Let The Waters Rise", and the song is also recognised in the Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year category. Mikeschair's first hit single, "Can't Take Away", is nominated for Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, while their self-titled album is up for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.

The 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards will be held Wednesday, April 21 at Nashville's legendary Grand Ole Opry House.

Fresh off the road from the WinterJam tour, the band is headed out on the United tour with Sanctus Real, along with Jonny Diaz and David Nasser. The tour, heading out the end of this month and going through May, supports Holt International.
