The Milwaukee Bucks were up against a tall task at home last Saturday but survived the Cleveland Cavaliers in double overtime 108–105 to end the latter's eight-game winning streak. 

Milwaukee also ended a streak of its own as before the victory, it lost back-to-back to the Boston Celtics (99–83) and the Denver Nuggets (103–102). 

Leading the way in the huge win over Cleveland were point guards Michael Carter-Williams and veteran Jerryd Bayless who tallied 17 points each. 

The Bucks also got major help from big men Greg Monroe and Giannis Antetokounmpo who recorded double-double performances. 

Monroe had 16 points and 17 rebounds, also tallying three assists with one block. Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds, also having one assist, and three rejections. 

Other bright spots for the Bucks were returning forward Jabari Parker who added 12 points and reserve guard Greivis Vasquez who had 13 points, which included a crucial three-pointer with under two minutes left in the second overtime. 

The victory improved Milwaukee's record to 5–5 and they are now 11th in the Eastern Conference standings. 

Up next for the Bucks will be a trip to the nation's capital when they play against the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center this Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, the Cavs fell to 8–2 following the defeat, which was their first since the loss to the Chicago Bulls in their season opener. 

Four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) LeBron James shone despite the setback, having 37 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three blocks. 

Helping him was former All-Star forward Kevin Love who also had a double-double 24 points and 14 rebounds, also having two assists and one steal. 

The Cavaliers are still the leaders in the Eastern Conference even if they fell to the Bucks, and up next for them will be the third and last game of a three-game road trip when they head to Motor City to play against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
