Milwaukee Bucks trade rumors: Numerous players on the trading block?

The Milwaukee Bucks may be in position to make a number of trades in the lead-up to this year's trading deadline.

In speaking to numerous National Basketball Association (NBA) executives, Gery Woelfel of the Journal Times has discovered that the Bucks are, apparently, open to making deals this trading season.

One executive even revealed to Woelfel that the Bucks are willing to move anyone currently on their roster except for the trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jabari Parker.

Middleton has arguably been the team's best player this season, while Antetokounmpo and Parker are widely viewed as the faces of the franchise.

Still, even if the Bucks may not be willing to trade the three players, there are still other names that could be appealing to other NBA teams.

For instance, Greg Monroe could be a trade target for contending teams looking for a frontcourt upgrade.

Monroe was the team's splashiest signing of the previous offseason, but his presence on the team hasn't helped nudge the team forward.

With the team continuing to struggle and in real danger of missing out on the playoffs entirely, now could be the perfect time for management to capitalize on Monroe's solid season by flipping him for pieces that could be more helpful in the long run.

The Bucks may also want to trade Monroe simply because he may not be on the team for that much longer even if they opted not to deal him.

As SB Nation pointed out, Monroe's current contract gives him the opportunity to leave as a free agent as early as 2017, meaning the team could lose him for nothing.

Along with Monroe, the Milwaukee Bucks may also want to trade other players that they no longer consider to be part of their long-term plans.

Guards Michael Carter-Williams and Jerryd Bayless could be worthy pick-ups for contending teams looking for backcourt help, and the Bucks may be inclined to deal both given the right offer.

With so many names reportedly on the trading block, the Milwaukee Bucks may be the team to watch heading into this year's deadline.
