Minecraft aficionados do not have to part with their favorite sandbox game ever again, thanks to the new wearable device that could make it possible to bring the game everywhere they go.

The brand new wearable device is dubbed as the "Gameband + Minecraft." It is made to let Minecraft players to bring a version of Mojang's sandbox survival game anywhere they go. It was developed by a company named Now Computing, and was released in the market since Tuesday.

The new Gameband + Minecraft works after plugging the device through a Windows, Mac, or Linux powered PC via its USV port. It will then automatically load the user's entire Minecraft game for back up. Basically, the main function of this device is to secure the user's saved games.

Also, the device features a 140 array red LED display that can show the time, date, as well as animated pixilated images that are taken from the Minecraft universe. The wearable bracelet also has a built-in software that could let the users choose between the pre-made selection of animations that can be used for the band, including the games and arenas made by Dragonz, Sethbling, and well as Hypixel, but the users can also create their own if they desire.

Minecraft fans who play the game on PC would definitely want to own one of these wearable devices. However, those who play Minecraft in their mobile devices and game consoles might not find themselves buying this supplemental game accessory for the meantime.

The sandbox game was initially released independently by Mojang, but it became widely accepted worldwide since its release in 2011. The game reportedly sold more than 54 million copies since 2011.

Microsoft currently owns the brand after buying it from Mojang for about $2.5 billion last year.
