Minnesota Vikings vs Detroit Lions live stream (Fox TV): Watch NFL 2015 football online (Week 7 preview)

The Minnesota Vikings will play the Detroit Lions on Sunday in a big game in Week 7 of the NFL 2015 regular season. The Lions have still only won the single solitary game this season, and come into the game with a lowly 1-5 record. The Vikings meanwhile are on 3-2 and will be hoping to improve that record with a fourth win of the season today. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and takes place from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream via the link below.

Although the Vikings are far from the best team in the league this season, their defense has proven itself to be one of the best, and that has been the backbone for their victories so far this season.

They come up against a Lions team in disarray, simply looking to salvage some pride from their season now. However, with the Vikings winless in their last eight NFC North road games, the door may be open for Detroit to claim the win against a Minnesota team that has struggled to travel well.

However, for most this one will be penciled in as another win for the Vikings. Last week's impressive performance where they defeated the talented Kansas City Chiefs 16-10 should give them confidence and shows that they are a team playing some solid football.

Especially in defense, last week the Chiefs only managed to convert three of their 12 third downs, and were scoreless in two red zone possessions. Arguably the game winning moment came when the Vikings defense forced and recovered a fumble in their own territory with under five minutes to go in the game.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football, the Seattle Seahawks destroyed the San Francisco 49ers 20-3 as they shut down the 49ers' offense to great affect.

San Francisco were not even able to get onto the scoreboard until the second half, and when they did it would be a solitary field goal effort in the third quarter.

That result gave the Seahawks their fourth straight win over the 49ers, and it will have pleased them to dump San Francisco down to the depths of 2-5, effectively ending any lingering thoughts that the 49ers had of being able to make the Playoffs.

The Seahawks have been gaining a reputation for having fourth quarter collapses this season, and that has undermined their efforts for their division race. But there was to be no repeat of those collapses on Thursday, as they gained their first road win in four attempts to go 3-4 and within touching distance of a more mediocre .500 record.

On Thursday Night Football, quarterback Russell Wilson completed 10 of his first 12 passes to impose himself on the game, and finished the game with 235 yards passing. However, he was also alarmingly sacked five times as his team failed to give him adequate protection.

Marshawn Lynch scored a spectacular touchdown, jumping the pile for a one yard score, and overall ran for 122 yards, although the most memorable moment for many about Lynch's performance on Thursday may have been when he vomited on the sidelines in the first half.
