Preliminaries are done. Now, the women representing the states of America will come together tomorrow for a night of radiance at the Miss America 2016 pageant. This year will be the 95th anniversary of the beauty pageant, with 52 ladies standing tall and proud in representing their home states and territories.

The annual event will take place in Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ this Sunday and Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet will be hosting. The new Miss America will be determined by celebrity judges Danica McKellar, Brett Eldredge, Taya Kyle, Kevin O'Leary, Zendaya and Vanessa Williams, who also took on the same responsibility three years back.

Each state has a representative in the competition. It will be interesting if New York, which took home the crown for three consecutive years, will once again reign supreme this year. The contestants this years will have to fight hard to stand out. These ladies could also belt some tunes, show some moves (one will be clogging) and even play the piano and flute. Check out more info about the contestants in the official Miss America website.

Last Friday, Miss America 2016 commemorated the victims and the heroes of the 9/11 with a Military Appreciation Concert. "You didn't want to disrespect the moment that was going on, but you didn't want to give in by removing an American way of life," Miss America 2000 Heather French said as quoted by 6ABC.

Meanwhile, according to Billboard, Nick Jonas will be the music curator for Miss America 2016. This means that he will be the one to choose the songs that will serve as the background while the contestants showcase their evening gown and swimsuits.

Miss America 2016 airs Sep. 13 at 9pm ET / 8 pm CT on ABC. Viewers can tune in to see to all the happenings by live streaming it from the ABC Watch App and ABC.com.
