"Mistresses" season 3 will be the first time the show will not star Alyssa Milano, and in her place steps in Jennifer Esposito. Esposito will be portraying an entirely new character and the first poster showcased by Entertainment Weekly gives audiences their first good look at Esposito in action along with the three other main leads.

As reported by the IBTimes, Milano opted to step out of the series when the studios decided to move production from Los Angeles to Vancouver. The actress explained that she preferred to stay with her children in L.A. instead of traveling to finish production for season 3, but it does appear she will have at least one episode to properly send her character off.

Esposito will be her replacement as the fourth member of the "Mistresses." According to a report from TVLine, she will be playing Calista Raines, the creative director of a high-class luxury fashion brand and will also be stepping in as a "big sis" figure to Jes Macallan's character Joss now that Milano's Savi will not be in the show.

Calista is also described as eccentric, "uber-fabulous and larger than life," and a lot of that is shown in the first season 3 poster. However, according to the TVLine report, the character also has a dark, sinister side hidden underneath her upbeat antics that is guaranteed to bring a lot of trouble to the table.

Her devious nature is also reported to eventually cause some friction with Joss. According to the IBTimes, Joss will be drawn deeper and deeper into a dark world of betrayal and lies.

How this may extend to the other three "Mistresses" has yet to be seen but since Calista will be the newest face in the group, the next season may have to deal with her personal life and the secrets she keeps hidden in her closet.

"Mistresses" season 3 premieres this June 18.
