Three strikes and the deluxe edition of "Major League Baseball (MLB) The Show 18" may finally be out, as the developers of the baseball game have detailed what the special version will include.

Developer SIE San Diego and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment have revealed the specifications of the Digital Deluxe Edition for the baseball game. This includes the game, "MLB The Show 18" itself, one Gold Season Starter Mission, one Diamond Season Starter Mission, Digital Deluxe Lead Off Pack, one Sponsor Pack, 20 Standard Packs, one Classic Stadium, 30 PlayStation 4 (PS4) themes, and 11,000 Stubs for the game.

There are also pre-order bonuses for eager players, though they have to be warned that this requires immediate payment. The bonuses are three days' early access, which allows them to test the game ahead of others, 10 Standard Packs, one Legend Starter, exclusive Aaron Judge Rookie Flashback in "The Show 17," and 5,000 Stubs.

For the record, stubs are an alternate currency in-game which allows players to cash them in for bonus resources like Road to the Show Training (RTTS) Points, Franchise Budget, and Diamond Dynasty Budget. They can be earned through playing the game or purchasing them with real life money.

It is also worth noting that there may be some pre-order bonus variations depending on where the players purchase the packages. Buying from Gamestop, for example, will net players 15 Standard Packs and one Legend Card, which is considerably less than what the players can get if they purchase directly from the PlayStation Store.

Another version of the game is the physical "All Rise Edition" from Gamestop, which has bonuses identical to the Digital Deluxe with the exception of a digital and physical Diamond Dynasty New Era All Rise Edition 9FIFTY Hat and an "MVP Edition." A lesser edition of this is called the "MVP Edition," which contains everything except the hat and only has 5,000 stubs.

"MLB The Show 18" is set to be released only for PS4 on March 27, 2018.
