Ronda Rousey vs Floyd Mayweather news 2015: Rousey fires back at Mayweather again

When the unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently wished Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey all the best, it seemed like the war of words between the two ended; but now, Rousey is back and addressed a statement "Money" made earlier this month.

In the heat of his decision to fight Andre Berto, Mayweather was at SportsCenter earlier this August to talk about the future bout.

But he was also asked about Rousey and he said he is happy of what she and the UFC have achieved but added, "I've yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me."

Rousey already said she can beat everyone in a ruleless fight and that includes Mayweather.

TMZ caught up with Rousey last Tuesday while she was walking her dog in Los Angeles and was asked about her future title defense against former boxing champion Holly Holm and the difference in pay for men and women athletes.

Rousey said it is "funny" that people are hating on her then brought up Mayweather's statement at SportsCenter.

"I actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight, I'm actually the highest-paid UFC fighter and I'm a woman. I think I actually make two or three times more than he does per second. So, when he learns to read and write, he can text me," the 28-year-old UFC champ said.

Rousey was then asked if she makes more money than Mayweather and her answer, "Yeah, I'm just a little bit more efficient."

Both are coming off big pay-per-view events. Mayweather defeated rival Manny Pacquiao via unanimous decision last May in the highest earning bout in history that broke previous records. Meanwhile, Rousey defeated Bethe Correia this month knocking out the Brazilian challenger in 34 seconds at UFC 190 to defend her title for the sixth time and remain unbeaten at 12–0.
