It looks like a lot of things are about to happen in the continuation of the ABC hit series "Modern Family" season 9. Aside from Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria's (Sofia Vergara) 10th anniversary celebration, it seems like there will be major change in Haley's character.

Sarah Hyland surprised everyone in a tweet she posted on Nov. 1. The 26-year-old star revealed that the character she portrays in the television mockumentary family sitcom is actually bisexual.

The "Geek Charming" star admitted that she is not sure what the "Modern Family" season 9 writers will say about her revelation, but she confirmed that Haley is attracted to both men and women. "I confirm," she said.

In the course of the ABC series' run, fans have seen Hayley's relationships. However, none of her love interests were women. According to E! News, though, her preferences might change in the coming episodes of the current season or in the next installment.

Meanwhile, in "Modern Family" season 9 episode 6 titled "Ten Years Later," Claire (Julia Bowen) was seen giving Jay and Gloria a grand 10th anniversary celebration after being a big disappointment at their marriage ceremony. Phil (Ty Burrell) also contributed by performing some magic tricks.

Everyone was so busy being involved in the big event, but as cited by AV Club, things got worse. Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) persuaded Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) to sing with him. As Mitchell agreed, Cam said that it was his only chance to prove to his family that he has talent.

Although he was trying to motivate him, it might have another meaning. So, things might get intense between the two. Aside from Cam and Mitchell, Gloria and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) seemed to be in a bad mood.

"Modern Family" season 9 episode 7 "Winner Winner Turkey Dinner" will be released on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
