Monday Night Football live stream: Watch online Seahawks vs Saints [ESPN start time, preview]

Monday Night Football takes place tonight and will see the Seattle Seahawks battle it out with the New Orleans Saints for supremacy of the NFC Conference. This game should be a fantastic one that no NFL fan will want to miss, and will feature two of the best quarterbacks in league facing off against one another.

Tonight's game will start at 8.40 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on the ESPN network. Alternatively the game can be watched online by live streaming – free for subscribers to the ESPN network – via the link provided below.

These two teams are currently in the positions to take first round byes in the NFC this postseason. They are the number 1 and 2 seeds in the conference, and combined they have lost only three times this entire season so far. This is without a doubt the NFL game of the week.

The Seahawks have been in fantastic form of late; having turned over the ball 12 times over the first seven games of the season, they went on to concede 3 turnovers in Week 9, but since then they have not conceded a turnover in three of their last four games – starving opposition sides of the ball.

The Saints must find a way to rattle the Seahawks tonight, and for many analysts it may be too much for them to go on the road to Seattle and claim a win against a very in-form team right now. No team has defeated the Seahawks in Seattle since Russell Wilson took over at quarterback – that reveals the challenge facing New Orleans on Monday Night Football tonight.

Wilson has had 13 starts at CenturyLink Field, and has a record of 13-0. Over his last three home starts he has completed more than 70 percent of his passes.

However, if anyone can take them down right now it would be the arm of Drew Brees and his Saints. Brees is having an immense season, with 28 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Although they have demolished opposition defenses on the pass, that excellent work has been supplemented well by running backs Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram on the ground.

The Saints have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season, and they will need to be at their best against this Seahawks team tonight if they are to claim a famous win.
