The highly-awaited open world role-playing game by developers Capcom, "Monster Hunter World," is already set to be released in January next year. Given the looming release date, the game's developers have been revealing more information about the game, and it has proven to be much bigger and bolder than gamers have previously imagined.

A YouTube user Arekkz, a "Monster Hunter" veteran, had the opportunity to visit the Capcom main office in Osaka, Japan, wherein he took some footage of the game and revealed a great deal about some early game monsters, in-game armor sets, as well as a significant amount of weapons.

Arekkz reported as much as he could with the limited time he got to play the game. He revealed that one of the new monsters that players will encounter early on in the game is called Tobi Kadachi, which is a formidable giant lizard-like creature. The Tobi Kadachi seems to be able to withstand multiple attacks and is quite resilient. According to Comic Book, the monster is a "lightning-based wyvern."

From the videos, the weapons look very ornate and intricate. PlayStation Lifestyle has reported that there will be more than 80 different weapons in the game. This gives players an array of options that will best suit their play-style to take down the most fearsome creatures in the game.

According to Dual Shockers, the highly-stylized weapons and armor are not the only things that players can look forward to in the upcoming video game. The creators of the game, Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Co-Director Yuya Tokuda have revealed that "Monster Hunter World" will be offering players more in terms of storyline compared to the previous games.

In fact, there will be high-definition cut scenes which will surely enhance the single player experience. It is currently estimated that main storyline will take players an estimated 24 hours to complete, but could still be subject to change prior to its release.

"Monster Hunter World" is scheduled to hit shelves on Jan. 26, 2018.
