If anything, microtransactions can take the fun out of playing what seems to be a good game. Fortunately, for those waiting for the upcoming launch of "Monster Hunter World," there is another reason for people to anticipate the game's release.

The game's developer Capcom revealed that there will not be any microtransactions in "Monster Hunter World," which is a change compared to games like "Star Wars Battlefront 2," "Forza 7," "FIFA 18," as well as "Middle Earth: Shadow of War."

It does pose a question as to why Capcom would not put in microtransactions in "Monster Hunter World." In fact, there is a simple explanation as to why. The general premise of "Monster Hunter World" is finding, killing, and looting monsters itself, so those microtransactions would be deemed unnecessary as it goes against the game's balance.

Ryozo Tsujimoto, the producer of "Monster Hunter World," revealed that the game already has the randomized, item reward feature in gameplay. He went on to explain that whenever a player carves a monster after a hunt, there is that mystery of what rewards will be in there. The same goes for rewards after finishing a quest. There are some rewards that players will not need a lot of – where some are standard rewards, while others are randomized.

Overall, he said that the loot is already part of the central gameplay aspect without any microtransaction version of it. The fun in the game lies in the satisfaction of a good hunt, as players get to find out what rewards will be given for their achievements. It is understandable why there would be no microtransactions included, seeing as paying to skip the hunting to get to the rewards just takes the fun out of the experience. It would not entirely be of help to the player either.

"Monster Hunter World" will be out on Jan. 26, 2018 for Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The PC version will be out later in the year. A beta version for PS4 users will be out on Dec. 9.
