Two blockbuster video games by Capcom are collaborating to bring two fighters in the world of hunters. A "Monster Hunter: World" and "Street Fighter V" crossover is on the horizon with Ryu and Sakura coming to the massive adventure role-playing video game.

A new quest will soon be added to World that upon completion will award gamers with SFV Tickets that will allow them to forge Ryu's Full Armor set. The "Down the Dark, Muddy Path" will be soon available to the title and hunters will have to defeat a Barroth in order to acquire the tickets. After slaying the monster, gamers can take the SFV Tickets and other materials to Smithy for him to craft the armor. The quest will go live early for PlayStation 4 players who have also saved "Street Fighter V" data file in their console. The quest will then go live later for the Xbox One.

The new quest will be accompanied by new downloadable contents including a new guild card background, a "Street Fighter V" ticket set, and Hadoken and Shoryuken gestures.

Capcom has yet to distribute information about the second "Street Fighter V" collaboration event that will bring Sakura's full armor to gamers.

The video game giant teased fans with the announcement video for the collaboration highlighting hunters in Ryu and Sakura armors. The short teaser also revealed hunters wearing the armors capable of launching "Street Fighter's" iconic special attack, the Hadouken. Some gamers also went crazy with short scenes showing Ryu wielding a machine gun and a massive hammer.

"Monster Hunter: World" was an immediate big hit for both fans and video game critics. After its release last Jan. 26, the new installment to the "Monster Hunter" series received high score ratings from critics. World got a perfect score of 10 from TrustedReviews and 9.5 out of 10 from IGN.
