The video games developer company Capcom revealed recently as to why its highly anticipated open-world adventure title, "Monster Hunter World," will be released on a later date for the PC. The game's producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, clarified that the team behind the development of the game needed to make sure that the servers for matchmaking are fine-tuned before the title's release on the PC.

As reported by PC Gamer, Tsujimoto stated that "Monster Hunter World" is the first title in the series that will be released on the PC platform along with the other consoles. In the past, the game was only released for consoles and focused heavily on the players' ability to slay monsters with their friend via split-screen. Because of that, Tsujimoto and the other developers have not had any experience with setting up stable online servers.

Tsujimoto stated in the interview that he, along with his team of developers, has every intention of releasing the game properly. This means that minimal bugs are present in online skirmishes, and more importantly, there should be minimal to no log-in issue on the day that "Monster Hunter World" is released. In order for this to become possible, the servers that are responsible for making sure that matchmaking is always available should be fully optimized.

This decision to optimize servers has affected the release date of the PC, in that the developers want to get the game out to console owners first. After which, the developers can fully attend to the needs of PC users, which will assure the best in-game online experience possible. Consoles already have Xbox Live for the Xbox One, as well as PlayStation Network for the PlayStation -- therefore, will not be needing as much attention to detail as the PC servers.

"Monster Hunter World" is scheduled to be released for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on Jan. 26, while Capcom aims to release the PC version sometime during autumn this year.
