Even before gamers had "The Last of Us" or the "Uncharted," video game developer Naughty Dog has brought "Jak" (and Daxter) games to many people's game consoles. The first of the four games in the series released for the PS 4 a few months ago, and fans of the franchise will be glad to know that the rest would be coming out in a few days.

Sony made the exciting announcement on their official blog and released an official launch trailer for the games. They mentioned that all three games ("Jak II," "Jak 3," and "Jak X Combat Racing") will be available for download starting on Dec. 6, with each game priced at $14.99 each. Fans can even buy all three in a bundle for $39.99, saving them around $5.

The first game, "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy" came out last Aug. 22. Like those who have played the PS 4 versions of this game, gamers will also find that the other three games are not exactly remakes of the original classics. However, there is still improvement in how it now supports better graphics at 1080p and features trophy support.

Gamers who have even a deeper connection with the game's series can also get the free extra bonus with a Legacy Dashboard Theme. The retro theme, however, will be priced at $2.99.

Players would remember how Jak was finally given a voice only in "Jak II." Gamers who grew up with the game can remember how surprised they were with Jak's voice. Interestingly, the act of giving Jak a voice became a monumental event for Naughty Dog. It apparently became the indirect reason for them to create "Uncharted" and "The Last of Us."

SIA associate producer Bryan Pardilla mentions that the "Jak and Daxter" series became their inspirations for their future award-winning games, as per Cinema Blend. With the original games pushing forward storytelling in an open world setting, gamers can definitely see that in their popular games today.
