"Mortal Kombat X" may hold what looks like the bloodiest arena yet. NetherRealms Studios has finally introduced the combatants in its DLC packs, and they are all primed to splatter the floor red with their opponent's blood.

Fans already know that Jason Voorhees from "Friday the 13th" will extend his killing spree to "Mortal Kombat X." Just recently, the cult-favorite intergalactic hunter Predator was also confirmed. His participation was heavily rumored prior to the unveiling.

The two fighters also appeared in a video freshly published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment along with two more characters gracing the game's expansion pack. The evil female henchman Tanya and the strapping brown-clad ninja Tremor will be joining the mix.

The femme fatale and master of magic will become playable with The Klassic Pack #1 while the earthquake-summoning, fireball-shooting ninja is available in The Klassic Pack #2. The expansion packs include one playable combatant and three skins for selected warriors.

Here are the full "Kombat Pack" details:

The Ultimate Horror Pack:

  • Playable character Jason Voorhees
  • Horror skins Vampiress Mileena, Kraken Reptile and Pharaoh Ermac

The Klassic Pack #1:

  • Playable character Tanya
  • Klassic skins for Kano, Sonya and Liu Kang

The Predator / Prey Pack:

  • Playable character Predator
  • Predator-themed skins Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion and Carl Weathers as Jax

The Klassic Pack #2:

  • Playable character, Tremor
  • Klassic skins for Quan Chi, Jax and Kung Lao

Unfortunately, the release date for the pack is still unknown. The good news is that "Mortal Kombat X" is close to a launch. The hotly-anticipated and possibly the goriest fighting game in the legendary video game series will be landing on the Xbox One and PS4 on April 14. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners should get their copy by summer.

"Mortal Kombat X" offers three fighting styles for every warrior and it will be up to players which one will help them soak the floor with their enemy's blood. The game is the most brutal one yet with a breathtaking cinematic presentation and brand new gameplay.
