After "Mortal Kombat X" was released for iOS-powered devices, it has also been made available for Android-based gadgets. The popular combat game can now be downloaded on Android via the Google Play Store. Those who have at least 1.5 GB of remaining storage space and about 1 GB of RAM can now download the mobile version of the action-filled game. 

The game description from the Google Play Store reads:

Bring the power of next-gen gaming to your mobile and tablet device with this visually groundbreaking fighting and card collection game. Assemble an elite team of Mortal Kombat warriors and prove yourself in the greatest fighting tournament on Earth."

According to Android Police, the mobile version of the game from the "Mortal Kombat" franchise features impressive high-end graphics as well as 2D fighting system that can be launched with the use of swipes, taps, charges, as well as a slew of other gestures that are used in other mobile-based games from NetherRealm Studios like "WWE Immortals" and "Gods Among Us." 

Developed by NetherRealm and published by Warner Brothers Interactive, the new installment of the widely popular "Mortal Kombat X" game series introduces some of the usual players of the game like Farmer Jax and Johnny Cage, as well as several guest characters like Jason Voorhees from the "Friday the 13th" films which can now be downloaded as a DLC, and the soon-to-be released Predator from the "Aliens" franchise. 

Although "Mortal Kombat X" is a free-to-play mobile game, players need to spend for in-app purchases to be able to unlock all the powers of the characters, including the unique variations of the game's Kombatants like the Stunt Double Johnny Cage. This could cost players as much as $70 per character. 

Players can also unlock various rewards and powers that are also available in the console version of the game.
