"Mortal Kombat X" players are still on a cliffhanger regarding the rumored "Kombat Pack 3" DLC. Ed Boon, the game director, is aware that fans have been longing to hear anything that will confirm its existence.

Boon puts up many surveys on Twitter, and fans have noticed that for almost two weeks, "Mortal Kombat X"-related postings have stopped. The last one he put up was the Xbox One S survey, asking if the fans will be getting one or not. A third choice for an answer was added, which teased the release of "Kombat Pack 3." The survey ended with 66 percent of the more than 13 thousand votes opting for the last option. That is how bad fans want the third DLC. So far, the director has not said anything related to that poll.

Game fans are now speculating that it may arrive soon and are talking about the possible characters that could be included in the upcoming expansion pack. Ecumenical News mentioned that Fujin and Noob Saibot are among the popular suggestions, while Movie News Guide added Sindel, Baraka, and Rain are also highly regarded candidates.

Fujin, the Japanese God of wind, became one of the requested characters after Tremor joined the game. Noob Saibot, once known as Bi-Han and the original Sub-Zero until murdered by Scorpio, has been both a playable and a non-playable character in the franchise. Sindel, the ruler of Edenia and wife to the evil Shao Kahn, is a non-playable character in the game. Baraka is an unforgiving warrior that serves Shao Khan. While Rain, originally a red herring, was inserted by Boon intentionally to trick players of "Mortal Kombat 3."

Meanwhile, Boon also mentioned not too long ago to the fans of "Mortal Kombat X" that the talented team behind the game are all hands on deck for another project, "Injustice 2," which is scheduled for release sometime next year.

The "Kombat Pack 3" DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" remains a mystery to fans.
