The official trailer for the much-awaited "Mortal Kombat X" was launched a week before the fighting game hit the shelves.

The trailer features a highly violent, bloody gameplay showing more X-Ray Brutality sequences that excite possible players. It also features the hit song "Chop Suey" by alternative metal band System of a Down from the album "Toxicity," which is not surprising since the video was directed by the band's bass guitar player Shavo Odadjian.

The NSFW video shows more characters that players can opt to play once the game comes out next week. It includes the water ninja Rain and the Tarkanian army general Baraka. Other names like Sindel, Nightwolf, Stryker, and Kabal  are also shown in the new trailer.

Meanwhile, earlier reports claim that the 10th major installment of "Mortal Kombat" will offer more than 100 Fatalities, and will feature the much-loved characters from its earlier versions like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Goro.

On the other hand, Touch Arcade reportedly spotted the mobile version of "Mortal Kombat" in the App Store one week ahead of its console version release. According to the report, the game's mobile version was announced by NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. back in March, and it will come out alongside "Mortal Kombat X." But the game is already visible in the App Store.

Several staffers of the website tried to download the game, but most of them were having trouble launching it in their mobile devices. Only one of them managed to get the game working. However, they are not expecting to find a polished version of the game's mobile version until the official release date arrives.

"Mortal Kombat X" is scheduled to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 14.
