Fans of Mortal Kombat X will be delighted to find out the long-standing Fatality type from its predecessor, creator Ed Boon divulged in an interview.

Boon said: "For those who are familiar with Mortal Kombat, we've first had the Fatality and we added a Babality. We had the Friendship moves, Brutality moves and all of these crazy things over the years. We are going to be reinstating an 'Ality' from a previous game into Mortal Kombat X. And I can't wait to be able to talk about it, but at the moment I can't."

The non-violent type called Fatality has a feature called Friendship, where the winner may extend a friendly gesture tothe loser. The Babality feature has the ability to transform an enemy into a baby.

Other non-violent moves featured in the much awaited version of Mortal Kombat include Mercy, where a player has the ability to decrease an opponent's health to a minimal level.

Moves featured in the game include Brutality, as well as Animality moves allowing the winner the ability to transform into an animal before destroying the opponent. Other moves include Death Traps/Stage Fatalities as well as Hara-Kiri.

Boon squashed the rumors about having a new Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter said to be released in the near future.

Boon stated: "There currently is no Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter project in the works. There's a nostalgic side of me that would love to see a Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter, if we were allowed to make an M-rated game. There's a novelty to that. But the chances of that happening are pretty low. It is a possibility but not a probability."

Mortal Kombat X is set for release in multi-platform versions in 2015, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, as well as PC.
