Just recently, a gameplay footage for the much-awaited fighting game, the "Mortal Kombat X" was shared by NetherRealms Studios via Twitch stream. Sadly, there were no revelations as far as the new-fangled character line-ups are concerned. But the video, which ran for more than 30 minutes, only showcased the announced characters as NetherRealm Game Designer, Derek Kirtzic, Community Specialist Tyler Lansdown and Lead Designer John Edwards discussed and demonstrated each of the fighter's three variations.

Aztec God Kotal Kahn instigated the demo gameplay video with his modes. Kotal Kahn can turn into a Blood God, wherein his attack damage is amplified and his protection from damage is at the utmost. He can morph into a Sun God to enhance his grappling skills and lastly he can develop into a War God and have him cut throats and lives with a sword. During the livestream, characters such as Quan Chi, Sub-Zero, Kano, Raiden, Cassie Page and D'Vorah were shown. Noticeably, the fatalities were made much more horridly graphic and full.

The complete roster is yet to be defaced but NetherRealm co-creator Ed Boon took to Twitter (for the second time) the next batch of characters that will be playable in the game. Months back, Boon also hinted "Mortal Kombat X through social media, particularly the return of one of the title's main antagonists, Quan Chi. And all for the gamers' enigma, Boon posted a photo of several 'mysterious' boots worn by faceless fighters likely to put in an appearance in the "Mortal Kombat X".

IDigital Times tried to put its finger on the puzzling photo, attempting to outfox Boon in figuring out whose characters the boots belong to. There are six boots in the photo and the site's conjectures include half lizard half ninja assassin Reptile as the first, Kabal as the second. The third one may either be Kung Lao or Shang Tsung, while the fourth character, a female, suggests various fighters but the site bets on Sindel. The fifth one is predicted to be Jax and the last one might be Baraka. Nevertheless, this entire conundrum may finally be given light soon, as everyone can rely on Boon's photo caption, "One of these days".

The production for "Mortal Kombat X" will be wrapped up in the next months. As its April 2015 rollout for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC approaches, there to go along are tons of surprises about the upcoming fighting installment.
