Motorola's recently unveiled smartwatch, the second generation Moto 360, is already available for pre-order, but only in Canada.

According to Mobile Syrup, the second generation Motorola smartwatch is already available for pre-order online in Canada through Best Buy.

The 46 mm variant of the Men's version of the Moto 360 in black is available for $499.99 and other women's models are also available on the website. Currently, the 42 mm model in cognac and in black are each priced at $379.99 while another variant in blush is available for $399.99.

All prices appear to be listed in Canadian Dollars.

Surprisingly enough, the models up for pre-order have arrived with nary a word from Motorola. It's also unclear if this may be an accidental leak of sorts as the second generation of the Moto 360 is not scheduled to be released until the end of the month.

With the new smartwatch seemingly available now for pre-order, it begs the question of whether or not it is actually worth getting.

From a design perspective, the original Moto 360 was heralded as a pioneer for being a device that actually sought to resemble an ordinary watch as opposed to looking like a gadget. The same is true for the second generation Moto 360, with Motorola even tweaking its design even more with some accents to capture that authentic timepiece aesthetic even more.

As for the specs of the Moto 360, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. It also provides users with 4 GB of internal storage, according to Digital Trends.

There are also features of the second generation Moto 360 that are designed for the active individual, such as its built-in acceleromoter and optical heart rate monitor designed to keep tabs on how its wearer is doing while exercising.

Aside from North America, the new smartwatch is also expected to become available in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
