Motorola has been taking a long amount of time to unveil its products for 2015. Fans eagerly awaiting to get a glimpse of the successor of Moto 360 as well as Moto X 2015 will not have to wait any longer because according to Fudzilla, CEO of Lenovo Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanquing has stated that future Motorola products are going to be announced very soon.

While some might be puzzled as to why a Lenovo executive is making the announcement, many tend to forget that Motorola was acquired by the Chinese tech firm at a price of $2.91 billion USD from Google.

Coming back to the products, Moto X 2015 will most likely be featuring a 5.2 inch QHD display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC. While it was reported earlier that the company was working on two Moto X smartphones, there has been no confirmation from Motorola, leaving sources to believe that the firm is only focused on releasing one handset.

Like all devices falling in to the Moto X category, Moto X 2015 will be void of a MicroSD card slot and will be shipped in the 32 and 64 GB models. Motorola will also be looking to incorporate v1.3 of Snapdragon 810, which is the only chipset variant of Qualcomm's flagship product that does not exhibit overheating characteristics.

As for the successor of Moto 360, it cannot be stated as to what hardware specifications will be present in the wearable primarily because no leaks have been revealed concerning the upcoming smartwatch. However, seeing as how Motorola has slashed its original Moto 360's price down to $149.99, as stated on the product's website page, consumers might bear witness to a successor in a very small time span.

The following has not been confirmed, but Moto 360's successor is expected to feature an LTE and a cellular modem for internet connectivity and calling purposes, respectively. As for the chipset and battery life, Motorola will be looking to add something with a bit more power compared to the Ti OMAP 3 processor. The upcoming product is also going to showcase far better battery life than before.

Currently, that is all the information present about both products. While an exact date has not been given, customers should expect both devices to be showcased during August/September.
