With the smart wearables already transforming from a niche market to mainstream, most tech observers and smartwatch fans alike are looking to get not just the latest one, but a smartwatch that would complement the user's lifestyle and taste. So how would two of the most known smartwatch names – the Moto 360 and the Pebble Time – fare against each other?  

Design and display 

In terms of design, the Moto 360 brings to mind the traditional watch, with its circular design and build. It also has a bigger screen at 1.56 inches than the Pebble Time's 1.26-inch display, and a higher pixel density at 205 ppi. The build is also great, as the Moto 360 is thinner at 11 mm and is made of stainless steel housing, with genuine leather for a strap.

As for the watch face itself, the Moto 360 is preferred by those who have more traditional tastes. Meanwhile, users who prefer a computer-age look go for either the Pebble Time or other Android Wear watches from other manufacturers. 

Build and features 

It seems that the Moto 360 is also the clear winner in terms of build and features. First, Motorola's wearable has more juice than the Pebble Time, with a 320 mAh battery. This would make the Moto 360 pack more features, like social network integration, voice commands, wireless charging, and a touchscreen interface. Unlike the Pebble Time, the Moto 360 also has an array of built-in sensors like a heart rate monitor and pedometer that would be of great help for fitness enthusiasts. With these features, Moto 360 is a great complement for those with an active lifestyle.
