Moto Droid Turbo 2 specs rumors: Verizon exclusive surfaces online

There have been rumors of Motorola already putting up finishing works for its next smartphone offering. If the leaks that recently surfaced online prove true, then it seems that the next Moto device will be known differently depending on where the user is.

According to a render posted by notorious tipster Upleaks, the next Motorola smartphone will be known as either Motorola Bounce – if the company will retain the codename – or as the rumored Moto X Force globally. However, for those in North America, it will come in a different package – the device will be known as the Verizon-exclusive Moto Droid Turbo 2.

In the render that surfaced online, the Moto Droid Turbo 2 sports what appears to be a plastic-made, textured back panel with metal or hard plastic frame chassis. The back also shows the DROID standard brand. The render also shows the front where the Verizon logo is indicated below the display and halves the speaker grill in two.

Meanwhile, aside from the render, @Upleaks also posted about the upcoming device's rumored specs. If the rumored list of specs of the upcoming Moto X Force is accurate, then the new Moto X handset will be better than the current Moto X offerings, the Moto X Play and Moto X Pure Edition.

Reportedly, the Moto X Force will sport a shatter-proof 5.43-inch Quad HD POLED display, a Snapdragon 810 chipset, and 3 GB of RAM. In addition, it is also said that the upcoming device will have a 21 MP main camera and two storage options, in 32 GB and 64 GB variants. It is still unclear if the Moto X Force will come with expandable storage support.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Moto X Force will also offer more juice than the current Moto X Style as it will allegedly come out with a 3760 mAh battery against the Moto X Style's 3000 mAh one. The upcoming Moto X Force will also be allegedly compatible with Motorola's Turbo Charger for faster charging.
