More details about the alleged Moto X Force, dubbed as Moto DROID Turbo 2 in the U.S., have been leaked online.

Popular tipster @upleaks once again posted on Twitter several release date details about Motorola's newest smartphone. Last week, the tipster claimed that the Moto X Force will be exclusively released by Verizon sometime in October but will be known as Moto DROID Turbo 2.

The device, which was earlier referred to as the Motorola Bounce, will be released internationally in December. The rumored smartphone from Motorola is allegedly coming to Europe and China as the Moto X Force. However, the leak source did not provide any information if it will be released in other parts of the world as well.

The predecessor of the new Moto DROID Turbo 2 was also exclusively released by Verizon in October 2014, and it comes with a 5.2-inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and quad-core processor, 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB or 64 GB memory options, and a 21-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.

The new DROID Turbo 2, meanwhile, will come with a lot of improvements over the earlier device, including the use of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. It will feature a bigger 5.43-inch QHD display as well. While the alleged smartphone will still have the same 21-megapixel primary rear camera, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB and 64 GB storage options, its secondary front-facing camera will be raised to 5 megapixels.

In addition, the upcoming device will allegedly come with a shatterproof display feature. However, there is no confirmed information about what "shatterproof" really is.

Aside from the alleged release date, @upleaks also mentioned that the model number of the Moto DROID Turbo 2/ Moto X Force will be XT158x.

However, Motorola and Verizon have yet to confirm the validity of the alleged release date information and specs posted by the well-known leak source.
