Lenovo has quietly released the Moto E3 Power in Hong Kong. Speculations suggest that a global launch may soon follow.

The new Moto iteration is now available for HKD 1,098, or roughly $142. According to Phone Arena, although the phone is one of the entry-level iterations of Lenovo for the new Moto lineup, the Moto E3 Power optimizes its power management and battery performance, hence the "Power" tag. The new iteration has a 3,500 mAh battery, which can be considered as massive, given its entry-level specs.

The Moto E3 Power is listing a 5.0-inch screen with 720p HD resolution, and a MediaTek MT6735P, a 1.0GHz octa-core processor. It is paired with a modest 2GB RAM. Other specs include 16GB of onboard storage, an 8MP main camera and 5MP selfie shooter, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. In addition, the new handset also comes with dual-SIM feature, and supports 4G LTE.

Meanwhile, although the phone has been quietly launched in Hong Kong, it is expected that Lenovo will also launch the Moto E3 Power in other regions. Moto India has already teased that the new iteration may be launching in the country soon, and it is supported by a Zauba listing that reportedly reflects the Moto E3 Power being imported as retail devices.

However, aside from a hint that the Moto E3 Power will launch in the Indian market soon, Lenovo has yet to confirm a global launch for the new handset.

The new Moto E3 Power joins other entry-level iterations that Lenovo has since released after it acquired Motorola Mobility. Aside from the new Moto E addition, Lenovo has already released refreshed the Moto G lineup with the 2016 editions – the base model Moto G4, the G4 Play, and the G4 Plus.
