Motorola has recently released the second-generation Moto G 4G into the market. It serves as a follow-up to the 3G version of the device, which hit the shelves last year. Features and hardware-wise, the handset, also known as Moto G 2015 4G, is not very much different from its siblings from way back 2013 and 2014.

It comes with a 5-inch IPS display that delivers a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and a 294 ppi pixel density. The screen is caked with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and allows multi-touch support.

Under the hood is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. This goes along with 1 GB of RAM. As for the inbuilt memory, it has 16 GB and they can double that with a microSD card.

The new Moto G 2015 4G also has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera to boast. This shooter has LED flash and allows high-definition video recording. Furthermore, its 2-megapixel front-facing snapper will do the selfie work.

For those worried about its operating system, Motorola has equipped it with Android 5.0 Lollipop. With the tech firm moving quickly in bringing the software to its offerings, users can rely that this handset will be up to speed when it comes to software updates. The Moto G 2015 4G packs a 2390 mAh battery unit for long-lasting usage.

As of now, the handset is only available in the United Kingdom. Those who are interested in getting a Moto G 2015 4G for themselves can arrange a visit to Amazon, Argos, Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco or Carphone Warehouse. Without contract, users should get it in either black or white for £149.99 ($224).

Meanwhile, there is still no word about the release of the device in the U.S. However, it looks like it won't take long before the smartphone reaches its shores.
