Renders of the purported third-generation Moto G (2015) recently made the rounds.

The images, leaked by an insider to Techno Buffalo, show a new Moto G dipped in white. There are no signs that the Lenovo-owned company changed things design-wise, but this doesn't mean it is the same case on the inside. Its predecessor looked a lot like the original but it was significantly more powerful. 

The latest iteration of the budget-friendly mid-ranger will reportedly bear major upgrades, primarily on the camera department. According to rumors, the Moto G 2015 will boast a 13-megapixel shooter on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. This definitely sounds much better than the 2014 version's 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel snappers. 

Meanwhile, the new Moto G, said to be codenamed Osprey, is also being poised to accommodate 1 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The mid-range handset will likely have at least 8 GB of storage to offer, although it remains to be seen if this will be expandable. 

Furthermore, the new Motorola offering is also being reported to don a 5-inch screen that renders a decent 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It could also support 4G LTE along with other standard connectivity options, as well as run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the latest available version of Google's mobile operating system. 

However, there's no word from Motorola that affirms the existence of the Moto G 2015. But should the company produce an iteration of the economical device, it will likely be released in September. It was during that month last year when the Moto G (2nd Gen) was made official. 

It is expected that the Moto G 2015 won't put up a big price tag and should it have the aforementioned specs, it could cost around $179.
