MOTO X 2015 specs news: Flagship phone to come out with Quad HD Display?

There is no official word on what the MOTO X 2015 will officially bring this year but a leaked image via GSM Arena may have spilled the beans.

Spotted at the site was a device codenamed XT1542 sporting a 5.2-inch 4K Quad HD AMOLED display which, if true, should place it among the ranks of the LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6.

Such could make sense since Motorola is now under Lenovo's wing. Lenovo has had its share of injecting impressive features on their smartphones so this leak could very well be aligned and justified.

Aside from the HD AMOLED display, rumors have it that the Moto X 2015 could be coming with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 mobile chipset that may be supported by 4GB of RAM. It may likely have 32GB of 64GB of internal storage and will most likely run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Aside from the supposed leaked images, there was even a video over at YouTube that offers things to come with regards to the Moto X 2015 handset. The video shows the device sporting a USB Type C port and stereo speakers. You can watch the video below.

This includes a 16MP main camera which has a built-in OIS and 5MP front-facing camera. It will reportedly also sport a 3,280 mAh battery to store and provide power to the whole device.

Of course, all of these leaks remain unofficial and Motorola has yet to confirm (as if they would). There is likewise no word yet on when the Moto X 2015 would be out in the market although many believe that it could happen this coming September, a month when Motorola released one last year.

Despite all that, would the Moto X 2015 entice you to check it out once it officially hits the market? Perhaps for the right price and with the same impressive specs and design, the device is one worth considering.
