The Moto X Force has now been officially launched.

If the name of this new phone is a bit unfamiliar, then that it is likely because it is the international version of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, according to NDTV.

The Moto X Force will be released in certain regions, with those being Latin America and Asia Pacific, as well as Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The phone itself has some interesting specs and features to offer.

Starting with the processor, the Moto X Force will be featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, and it will also have a duo of quad core CPUs.

Moving onto the memory offerings of the Moto X Force, there will be two variants of it available. One will be a 32 GB model while the other one will double that at 64 GB. Those who feel that those internal storage offerings are not enough can expand it all the way up to 128 GB by using a microSD card. The Moto X Force will also feature 3 GB of RAM, according to GSM Arena.

In terms of the phone's display, it will be featuring a 5.4-inch QHD screen. According to Motorola, the Moto X Force has what they term as a "ShatterShield" display that is supposedly so durable that it could be dropped onto a piece of concrete and still emerge whole, although users should probably steer clear of actually trying to do so.

The Moto X Force will have a 21-megapixel primary camera with a secondary shooter offering five megapixels.

Unfortunately for those who will be looking to get the Moto X Force, the new phone is lagging a bit behind in terms of its operating system as it will be running the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware instead of the new Marshmallow update. No word yet on when the Moto X Force might receive the new OS update.
