Moto X+1 release date in August or September to rival iPhone 6, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy F

Moto X+1 release date is speculated to be released in late August or in September, according to report.

TK Tech News Blog reported that Moto X+1 will be launched late this summer or early in the fall. It is speculated that Motorola is gunning for the same release date window of its rivals – iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as well as Galaxy F. If so, Motorola has its hopes up to grab the attention or take a bit of a share on the sales of the other smartphones.

Reports claimed that Moto X+1 release date will be by the end of summer. According to the grapevine, Motorola's smartphone will be released in the last week of September. This is fueled by the tweet of Motorola Mobility in February saying that the next generation of Moto X will be launched in late summer. However, the company has not given concrete release date for the handset yet.

Meanwhile, alleged specs and features of the Moto X+1 leaked online and it was stated that the smartphone will pack a 1080p full-HD super AMOLED display and 2GB RAM. New sources claimed that the handset will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB variants and will be equipped with microSD slot for additional external storage.

The blog also showed purported photos of Moto X+1 and, based on the photos, the smartphone more rounded corners compared to its predecessor. The design of the upcoming device highly resembles that of Droid Ultra.

Recently, Motorola's vice president for product management, Punit Soni, showed signs that Moto X+1 will come with a Full HD screen display. The Motorola exec posted a screenshot of the bug fix for Moto X, Moto G and Moto E but the screen display has Full HD resolution. This immediately sparked rumors that the smartphone in the photo is Moto X+1.
